March 10, 2010 I'm so excited for Texas this year!

March 11, 2010 Speaking of Texas, what is happening with Dave Walters. I've noticed in the past that he has been slow to get into the season but normally he pops some incredible times before NCAAs. He hasn't been near his potential yet this year. Is/was he sick? Injured? Ready to pop one (or three) off at NCAAs? Just curious. I think he's a great athlete who has done some incredible things on the international stage for his age so no slight intended.

March 11, 2010 I have scored the men's meet according to the psych sheet. This obviously does not include diving, which I think will come into play big time. The meet looks incredibly exciting. If the meet plays out as the seeds do then Texas ends the first day with a 5 point lead on Auburn and a 11 point lead on Stanford. Texas ends day two with a 2.5 point lead on Auburn with Stanford falling back, now 27.5 points back. But what a day 3 Stanford is expected to have. The score almost 70 points more than Texas does. Coming back to win the swimming portion of the meet by 38.5 points. The top ten by seed are
Stanford 402 points
Texas 363.5 points
Auburn 351 points
Florida 347.5 points
California 320 points
Michigan 296 points
Arizona 248 points
Georgia 191 points
OSU 146 points
Virginia 125 points.

Needless to say, given how close the top five are, any one of them can win the meet if they swim better than expected and score significant diving points. Can't wait!!!

March 11, 2010 Walter has been injured all winter. Don't know any details. I have heard that he was fully tapered/shaved at Big-12s, but I can't confirm.

teamwiess, I don't think it's out of reach for Arizona to win the thing either. They have a lot of time to drop that they obviously can considering they simply didn't drop time at Pac-10s.

March 12, 2010 Does anyone know when/if the NCAA D-1 finals will be on T.V.? Usually it's tape delayed on ESPN2 a couple of weeks later.

March 14, 2010 They are only listing the relays that are above the line this year, not those that are below the line, i.e. invited. Will they go with fewer relays this year even though their may be some that have all the swimmers at the meet> Just curious why they are not listed this year

March 14, 2010 Oh, one more thing.will the races be available on line. Didnt SW cover them in the past?

March 14, 2010 The addup relays and such will probably be added in at the meet.

As for streaming online, ESPN/NCAA apparently are going to follow through on their broadcast rights for both of the meets this year. Not sure what type of on-demand footage will be available though.

We've been happy to help invest in this sport by helping get both meets streamed live (prelims included) for the first time ever the past few years.

Not sure exactly where everything will be posted this year, but the NCAA has been making a serious push to have everything NCAA related be posted at NCAA.com - including all live results. So, I'm sure any links will be there.
